Forgot to make this thread until it's already January 2nd whoops. We have a New Year's Day baby, though, and today another pretty foal showed up.

Vox Populi is a beautiful black colt by Ace of Hearts-Super Tuesday, by Candidate. I felt the name, which is Latin for "voice of the people", really fit the names of his parents. His dam was a good juvenile runner who didn't do so well once she hit three. His sire was a late bloomer so here's hoping he takes a bit more after his sire than his dam.

Super Tuesday is coming home for a date with the home stud.

Last Week Tonight is a handsome bay colt by Sunday Paper-Quorra, by No Duplicate. Named for John Oliver's fantastic show. Quorra was a multiple winner; we're hoping Sunday Paper will give her foal some class.

Quorra will probably also come home to be bred back to Karat.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! =D

New baby turned up yesterday but took me a while to settle on a name. Vigilance is a beautiful bay colt by Karat-What's Honor, by What's Debatable. I'm really hoping that Karat imparts some size since none of Honor's babies are taller than 15 hands (The Time Lord is the tiniest at 14.3, wow).

Haven't decided where to send What's Honor. Might be one of the new FFH studs.

The colts are showing up with a vengeance D:

I totally did just name the stable's newest face Poe Dameron after the wonderful rebel pilot in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Couldn't think up a name for the Karat-Out of the Hood, by Robin Hood colt but after going through a billion Star Wars posts on Tumblr I just threw my hands in the air and went, "To heck with it!" He's a beautiful bay like his father and comes from a solid female family.

Out of the Hood has been leased for the year.

If someone could tell me how to unpin this topic....

A most beautiful foal appeared in the barn today. Adamas is the spitting image of her 2YO full sister and a daughter of Karat-Diamond Prospector, by Mr. Prospector. The mare has given me nothing but fillies so far and the Karat sibs are both black with no markings. Interesting. "Adamas" is Latin for "diamond", continuing the diamond-themed names for Diamond Prospector's girls.

Diamond Prospector may go back to Karat for a try at a colt or to an FFH stud. Am also considering leasing her so that she can get a chance with stallions I won't be able to use.

Magic is what pinned my topic clearly.

The foaling barn saw a new baby tonight, a lovely black colt by Karat-USS Enterprise, by Tiznow. His name was easy to figure out - SSV Normandy, for the original starship in the Bioware game Mass Effect because Bioware is running/ruining my life. i hope he becomes a classy turfer like his parents.

USS Enterprise is up for lease; contact me if interested.

I... apparently missed a foal yesterday. Whoops.

Justicar is a lovely flea-bitten grey filly by Belanso-Vishnu, by Irish River. The name is from the Mass Effect games; the teal deer version is that they're asari warrior monks. Nuns? They live by a code and are sworn to wander the galaxy righting wrongs.

Vishnu is up for lease for $8k. PM me if interested in her and I'll lower the price.

New foal is another filly foal.

Anticipate is a lovely bay filly by Worth The Wait-Spice Spice Baby, by Highland Laird, bred on the extended Worth/Rogue cross. She is from her sire's last small crop so she's just that much more precious.

Spice Spice Baby is up for lease. PM me if interested.

Thank you for the lovely comments, guys!

A slew of foals showed up over the past couple days but didn't post due to laziness/not knowing what to name them. Well, they're all named now and the fillies are trying real hard to catch up. In no particular birth order.....

Val Royeaux is an absolutely lovely grey filly by TakeMeToHollywood-Enchanted Evening, by Highland Pride. Bred on the extended Worth/Rogue cross and named for the capitol city of Orlais in Dragon Age Inquisition. Was thinking of a Hollywood classic to name her after but heck, I'm on a Bioware roll so might as well.

Enchanted Evening might be bred back to Karat or she might go up for lease. If you're interested, PM me.

Necromancer is a nicely made bay colt by Karat-Art Of Life, by Secretariat. Also named after something in Dragon Age Inquisition, this time a mage specialization favored by a particular very flashy character.

Art Of Life is available for lease; PM me if interested.

Lovely babies! Congrats on the Kermit filly, love the name. (Need to get back into Dragon Age, it's collecting dust on my shelf right now. I've been riding ponies around in Red Dead Redemption lately.)

Overdue foal post! Also ha ha you really should, Shanthi. At least in Inquisition you get to ride around in a horse (or dracolisk, giant rodent, or undead unicorn) of your choosing  ;)

The first of the rest of our February foals is Alexander Hamilton, a very handsome chestnut colt by Karat-Full of Fanfare, by Witness. And yes, he is so named because of a certain incredible musical though unlike Hamilton he has an old pedigree.

Full of Fanfare is up for lease.

Guns and Ships is a lovely gray colt by Karat-Firedancer, by Turn n'Burn. He's named for one of the songs in Hamilton and I highly recommend giving it a listen. The whole album is on YT.

Firedancer is up for lease.

And another baby with a Hamilton name! Tell Your Story, a small fireball of a liver chestnut by Unabridged-Fairy Wish, by Highland Wizard. His name comes from "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story". Feel free to listen if you want a good cry.

Fairy Wish will be visiting Hogsmeade.

And the newest member of the 2020 foal crop is Joan Watson, a beautiful dark by filly by Karat-Beautiful is Gone, by Tiznow. Her sire is a son of the mare Heart of Gold and her dam the granddaughter. She's named for Lucy Liu's wonderful Watson in the CBS show Elementary and a full sister to the yearling filly Twice Blessed.

Beautiful is Gone is up for lease.

Okay, all foals are on the ground and healthy as heck! No stillborns and no lost mares.

Maxima Cum Laude is a chestnut filly by Harvard Bound-Successful Sister, by Hope To Succeed.

Mnemosyne is a bay filly by Pay the Boatman-Scotland's Glory, by Highland Laird.

Cherry Moon is a blood bay filly by Moonopoly-Rahy On The Rocks, by Rahy.

Patrator is a bay filly by Demand the Best-Pink Slew, by Tiznow.

Beyond The Horizon is a bay colt by Take Me Away-Fade to Black, by The Black.

Oncoming Storm is a grey filly by I'm No Fool-Th
