For The Statistics Buffs

Once again, it seems that a great time was had by all in the Yearling-Weanling Auction, myself included. Below I've listed some points that may be of interest about the Auction. Hope you enjoy!

80 Horses Sold for $3,480,500 for an Average of $43,506

49 Stables Purchased Horses

The Sale Stoppers were the 13 Stables that forked over $100,000 for 11 yearlings and 2 weanlings. For the yearlings there were 6 fillies and 5 colts that sold for the price and there were 2 weanling fillies that sold for the $100,000. Congratulations to all on the high priced acquisitions. As well 11 Stables came in and purchased 1 horse only.
On the other end of the spectrum there were only 4 horses who sold for $1,000. They found new homes at Markos Stables who got 2 and 1 each to Iron Spur Stables and Battle Hill Farm.

40 Weanlings  Sold For $1,220,500  Avg- $30,512
21 Fillies Sold for $779,000 Avg-$37,095

Double Pleasure (Legacy International)
Gamblin Bandit (Team Church Stables)

Vice's Appeal (Suffolk Stables)

78 different sires had offspring of some description sell.

I'm actually mentioned this time in an auction! teehee. I don't know if that's good or bad, now that I think of it... But I'm very happy with Von Hollywood and her name? Well, my friend and I like it. That's all the matters :D

Thanks! I love reading the statistics after every auction! And you do such a great job!!
