Title: Ring of Fire Retired
Post by: Shanthi on August 10, 2016, 02:41:10 PM
It is with sadness that we announce the retirement of our stallion Ring of Fire. He's 15 this year and his soundness has been deteriorating for a while. At his most recent monthly vet visit the vet recommended retirement to preserve his joints. He is happy and comfortable and will live out his days on the farm.

Anyone who had mares booked to him for later this month can have a free breeding to any Stillwater stud, either this year or next. Please PM me.

Sorry to hear this, he's been one of our favourites as well

Sad to hear of his retirement but wishing him the best in his pasture years! We own a 3yo daughter by him who is SP this year, a 4yo daughter who just retired to broodmare duties, and one mare currently in foal to him for 2021.

Bummer. He was a handsome stallion. We're sorry to see him go.

We wish him a comfortable and long retirement.
