We have inactive players too.  I have tried messaging them, but nobody has responded.

Questions / Fitness Problem?
« on: November 29, 2009, 07:54:30 PM »
I notice in the last week all my horse's fitness levels dropped to D's and F's.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Sorry to hear that.  She was a great racehorse and hopefully will make a great broodmare!

Well, thank you so much everyone for the advice.  Maybe I will be there next year.  Good luck with River of Hope.   ;D

Ok.  Thanks for the advice.  I think he is consistant enough though.  He has beaten the top 2 contenders for the BC SC Sprint.  But I most likely won't do it because of the money thing.

Do you still think it is worth the risk if I only have $275,056, and after taxes this year I will only have $209,245?  Then I will only have $29,000 left after the nomination fee.  After that I will still have to pay the entry fee (which I don't know how much that will be).  I need as much advice as I can get.   ;)

General/Questions / Breeders Cup Qualifier Question

Are only nominated horses on that list?  Because I was thinking about entering Screamingtothemax in the BC SC Sprint, and he is not on the list.  I have not nominated him yet, because I want to make sure he is quailfied first.  He hasn't been run in any BC quailfier races, but he has a G2 place, and 2 Ungr. places, and Ungr. show, and and Ungr. Win.

I was just wondering if anyone thinks this horse is good enough for the Breeders Cup Steeplechase Sprint?  He has placed in 1 Grade 2 stakes race, and placed in an Ungraded Stakes race.  He has also won an Ungraded stakes race (with an SF of 229!), and showed in another Ungraded Stakes race.

Ch. Screamingtothemax

Here is his complete list of races this year:

2/11 - 7.5f SC Allow - 3rd with SF of 191
3/7 - 13f SC NW3 Allow - 1st with SF of 111
4/11 - 8.0f SC Ungr. Stakes - 2nd with SF of 170
5/2  - 7.5f SC Ungr. Stakes - 4th with SF of 190
5/27 - 14.5f SC Allow - 7th with SF of 0 (he doesn't like long distances, but it was the only race available)
7/8 - 7.0f SC G2 Stakes - 2nd with SF of 176
7/29 - 7.0f SC Allow - 2nd with SF of 150
8/26 - 7.0f SC Ungr. Stakes - 1st with SF of 229

So... what do you think?  It is $180,000 for the nomination, and I don't know if I want to spend that much.

This is my new 7 week old border collie.  I'm thinking or either naming her Skye or Tia.  What do you think?

When she gets older I want to train her in agility and rally obedience and compete together.   ;D

I only have one 2 year old, a filly - Selective Memory.  She won her first 2 year old race.
