A little late but we had two arrivals a few days ago.

Antifa is a beautiful dark grey colt by Hogsmeade-Fairy Wish, by Highland Wizard. He is her sixth colt from six live foals. When will she ever give me a filly?

Fairy Wish is booked to Lake Highlands but blew her covering date by a few so hoping to hear back about it.

The other new arrival is Eliza Schuyler, a pretty dark bay filly by Player-Light Up Your Life, by Cigar. She's got a slew of haf-siblings but only one of them's won so far. Hopefully, Miss Eliza can change that. While she's named for a real life historical figure, I named her specifically because of the musical Hamilton.

Light Up Your Life's next mating hasn't been picked yet.

At last, another foal and another filly.

Evening Song is a BIG black filly by Karat-Enchanted Evening, by Highland Pride. Her name is a continuation of the word "Evening" found in the dam line. She's bred on the famed Worth/Rogue cross and one of Karat's two multiple stakes winners is also bred on the cross, so at least we're going in the right direction lol  She has a full brother who's a 2YO this year.

No breeding plans have been set for Enchanted Evening.

Sorry for being a constant Debbie Downer but it hasn't been a good foaling season for us.

Healthy foal, which I suppose is important. Political Actor is a strapping dark bay son of Player-A Time For War, by Man O'War. His name is a term used for individuals who wield decision-making power on the political stage.

Unfortunately A Time For War had foaling complications and the vet recommended retirement. We bought her specifically to breed to Karat but I guess it's not meant to be. Shame we couldn't get a filly either but what can you do.

P.S. If anyone has a cheap Man O'War mare to sell, I'd be happy to buy her.

Had two arrivals this past week. Lovely foals both.

Ships In The Night is a beautiful light bay filly by Naval Commander-Farewell to Arms, by Candidate. Quite a lot of in/line-breeding to Whats It Worth in her pedigree.

Farewell to Arms hasn't been bred back yet. We're still searching for a good stud for her.

The Hinterlands is a handsome bay son of Karat-Scotland's Glory, by Highland Laird. He is a full brother to 2YO Heart of Glory. The family is quite intense but since Glory's oldest is only 3, there's no verdict yet on how well she produces. Here's hoping it's "well".

Scotland's Glory has not been bred back yet.
