Is it just me or does there seem to be less of a rush for the 2 Yr Old Races this year?
If I'd know I was gonna live this long........ I'd have taken better care of myself!!!

Very true, there is more races.  Last year, I think there were only two or four per race day for a while?

Also, shipping is key.  Your horse can only be at one track, so it makes a difference when babies are at different tracks and can't just magically be anywhere to race.  People are also probably hesitant to ship their babies to tracks if they don't feel that they are mature enough to race well.

Yeah, half my string is still hanging out at the farm because I'm moderately sure that they're not going to be mature until fall/winter, so I'm focusing on my more mature babies now.

And, as others have said, having 6-10 2yo races/day rather than 2-4 makes a big difference.  :)

And I've given up for a month or two and shipped mine back to recoup at the barn. lol

My only one is still with me, trying to get in shape. So, maybe people are also only training right now, like me.  ;)
