Two runners yesterday, both at Aqueduct:-

Kinda Sassy ran 4th/8 in an NW3 Allowance

Sheza Dreamer won the G3 Affectionately H'cap SC. Although it is her second Stakes Win, it is the first for the Stables. She continues to surpass expectations. I originally hadn't set my expectations too high but, as she was qualified for the 2007 Breeders Series races, I entered her in two of them. She finished 4th and 3rd in her two races, so I decided to try her in this race.

Cheatin' Heart was 2nd in an allowance...good job, girl.

Born To Run was 5th of 6 in an allowance...that was disappointing.

Depressing day for us as our only two runners decided to run their respective races backwards:

4YO Outoftheballpark came home 6th/7.  Looks like he's earned a career switch.  Let's hope he fares better in SC than on the flat, because there's not much to talk about there.

Now 3YO Catonahottinroof has been taking too many lessons from our now 3YO Santiago Roja, who has 1 win in 11 starts and has favored watching everyone else cross the wire first in all others.  Catonahottinroof decided to come home 11th/11 in her NW1.  She came home a promising 2nd in one of her starts...and has been off the board before and continues to do so after.  Grr.  Both might find themselves as SCers here in the near future...

Man, I wish we could have repeats of the first race of '08.

Right now most ponies are home for the month of January, resting up, so only one out this week.

Unconditional shows us that she can still run as a 5yo.  She came in 2nd against the boys in Australia, and it looked like the 7 furlongs in her stakes race just weren't enough.  She came in behind the very nicely bred Shetan.  So, no shame in second place here.  =)

Just a claimer out next week.

It continues to be a pretty good year for us so far...sort of. :)

All Hail went out in a NW3 and decided he didn't want to run, placing 5/6. He'll probably get some more time off.

Sedaka Century came back from an icky Breeders' Series race to win the Ungr. Sensational Star Handicap at Santa Anita. Home for a month of rest and then off to Australia!

Three out. Shake Things Up won a NW3. Donnacona came second in a NW2. Crystal Tipps came third and was injured...she's a klutz, that filly.

Three out today.  ;)

Skipsalacious hasn't been running much lately, so we decided to throw him in a race to get him running again. He did considerably well, considering his energy and fitness levels, and placed third out of six competitors.

Our first little foal we ever had, Wild Rebel hit the track for his second race and placed a promising second in the NW1 Allowance field of seven. Good boy. We're working to break his maiden.

Kickstand Kelli ran a NW2 Allowance and placed third out of nine horses. This is his seventh race, and he's slowly improving his slow start. Good boy!

Very good day here.  ;)
