Sky Chances didn't fire in the Kentucky Breeders' Cup finishing ninth of twelve, he'll go back to allowance ranks.

Hypersonic didn't impress either, finishing dead last. He'll be shipped home to rest and mature for a few months.

On the good note, both Celtic Starz and Moonlit Nights placed pn the board in the Grade 3 Gallorette Handicap. Starz took second and Moon finished third, six lengths behind her stablemate.

Also managed to claim a third nice colt, Gallant Effort by Gallant Fox out of a Highland Rogue mare.

No idea what to do with Meter Maid, who finished 6/9 over a distance/surface/condition that she loved back in January. Maybe trying her over the fences next time.

For the Glory finally broke her maiden in a 9.0f Open Allowance, putting away a field of both genders over a little longer distance than before.  A (turf) classic horse in the making?

Butter Lake ended a brief streak of 3 off-the-board finishes by taking 2nd against a mixed field in Allowance company.  I think she could handle a little more distance as well.

Finally, Catching Moonbeams couldn't finish a late rally in the Gr. 3 Kentucky Breeders' Cup.  Having previously won over 6 furlongs, I think this filly's trying to tell me she's a last-to-first kind of gal and needs more time to catch up.  She'll be holding out for something 6+ next time out.

Sent two out today.

Ice Tiger finished 5th of 6th on her first start after a break. Trip may have been too short for her so we'll look at something a bit longer for next time.

A bit better luck with Baringa who finished 3rd in the G3 Norfolk Stakes on only his third start. He's still a maiden but all the dam's older progeny are winners, two of them are also stakes placed so hopefully a bright future ahead for this one.
