Really good week.

Light of Ceres won! Her 3yo season was just really depressing (1 win all year), given her fabulous breeding. I hope this win (albeit an NW3) is a sign of things to come.

Arizona Dream was a disappointing 9th. Probably too short.
Long Island 88 and Dagnabit went 8-9 in their OA.
Ask Directions made me really happy, winning her NW2 against the boys. Steadfast Steed and Take It In Stride were 4-6 in the same race.
Odysseus won his OA.
Joey the Giant was 3rd in his NW2.
Killer Queen was a disappointing 6th against the boys in her OA.
Toast of the Town won against her Gr. 3 against the girls. Daytona Beach was 3rd.
Fabulously High was fabulous, winning her first stakes race, a Gr. 3 against the girls.
Maya was another surprise, winning her Ungr. stakes against the boys. Capricious One was 5th in the same race.

Really, really good week.

Terrible day all around, not sure what happened... May be time to rest some ponies!

Mixed results from the old gals I sent out, but overall a good day.

Doubles (Distinict Possibili (S) x Snake Eyes (S)) went 4th/8 in her NW2. The front of the pack was pretty tight, so I'm hoping she can pull off a couple wins in her five-year-old season.

My starter mare, Ama Nesciri, ran 4th/6 in her NW3 against the boys. She's six-years-old this year, so she might be ready to stop. Still, if she's bringing home a paycheck, she can keep running for me.

Teenage Temper (Almost Home (S) x Barely A Moment (B)) continues to be a mystery for me, finishing 7th/8 in her NW3 for 4yo+ against the boys. She may fare better in all-female company, but I  can't quite figure her out. She's been put up for sale for $10,000 for someone else to take a crack at.

I was very happy with Pegasus Pride (Tiznow (B) x Knight's Mystery (B)), who battled for  1st/6 in her open allowance over fences against the boys. I bought her assuming she would join my broodmare band right away, but she's turning out to be a really solid runner for me. Crossing my fingers for her five-year-old season!

Next Chance (created) says she is done, running 14th/14 at what was her favorite distance and preferred surface. Too bad she didn't race as a two- and three-year-old - I think I got her at the tail end of her peak as a four-year-old, and she's been going downhill her last several starts.

And Uncle Pennybags (What's Debatable (S) x Moonopolize (S)) continues to chip away at the stud qualifications, with a 1st/10 in the 5.5f Grade 3 Concorde Stakes. He'll need to start facing some Grade 1 competition in the upcoming year, which should be exciting.

Much better than recently, although without a win.

Ch. Summer Morning - 2nd/14 in Gr. 3 Affectionately Handicap for 4yo+ F/M, in which Southern Saga was 7th. Our first stakes placing this year. Summer Morning ran 45 races and still doesn't have enough! She will be bred to ICh. Long Live The King.
Kew Garden - 2nd/14 in NW1 Allowance for 3yo F, in which Pony Girl was 12th. They are both consigned to the Clicker Lab Auction:)
Golden Moon - 4th/14 in 11.5 furlongs Allowance for 4yo+ F/M, in which Classical Hightail was 6th.
Ch. Love Signal - 5th/10 in  8.5 furlongs Allowance for 4yo+. She may need longer distance. Ch. Charlotte was 6th.

And a new mare joined the herd! Restless Heart (Black Gold (S) - Sheza Wild One (B)) is a multiple winner and multiple placed, although bred and raced only by Final Furlong. She's not far from a Champion title. Looks like a great broodmare prospect.

A much better day than we had on Saturday!

Endless Dawn (NCh. Lasting Spirit) made her first start for us today a winning one by breaking her maiden in a dirt NW1 for 3yo fillies. 1st/14.

Exclamation Point (Point Given) made her first start on the grass today and took a liking to it, finishing 1st/14 in a turf OA for fillies and mares.

Hitman made it 2 for 2 after breaking his maiden last out with a win today in a turf NW3 for 4yo+. 1st/9.

Kiss For Luck ran well enough to finish 4th/14 in the G3 Affectionately over fences.

Romantic Memory ran pretty well in the G3 Honey Fox Handicap to finish 4th/14.

we sent out seven today with only two non paycheck ponies, one mare we just threw in a stakes to see what she would do and she beat out her stable mate whos a BC runner, and eclipse nominee. All in all not a bad day, at least i made some money. oh and the highlight of the day was my FILLY ,KOVET, against a field of all boys including a stable mate, she outran them all wire to wire winning by 2 lengths!!!!

Viva Las Vegas -8.5f Allow,4yo+,Dirt - Good ,2nd    happy with this guy he always tries to be in the front, he fell into second today.
Pretty Lil Angel -6.0f Allow, 3yo,Dirt - Good ,2nd settled into second place and ran with it, happy with her finish though as she just needed a run.

Bit of a flat day, think I pushed a couple too hard

American Dance came 11th in a 6.5f Turf NW3. She'd been sitting around at the track, so probably flat on NE.
Bockatay also flopped 6/9 in another 6.5f Turf NW3, she should have gone home after the last race
New purchase Valiant Effort did not live up to his name coming resolutely last in his 6f Dirt NW1. So much for me thinking his flat 2yo was just imaturity.

But Turcanna saved the day (and my pocket) by coming 2nd in the Sensational Star Handicap (Ungr) 4yo+. This starter horse deserves more than carrots, he deserves gold flakes.

OK day overall

Not the best day, compared to our previous race days this year, but we did get a stakes win! Yay!

A Capella was 4th in her NW2.

Golden Crown won his NW2. :D

Dal Riata was 2nd in her NW3.

Hidden Silver was 3rd in her NW3.

Singyourheartout was 5th in her NW3.

Fairy Cat was also 5th in her allowance.

Clochan na bhFomha was also 5th in her allowance.

Magician's Wand was 7th in his NW2.

Into the Light was 2nd in his NW2.

Raven's Glory won his NW2. :D

Skye Song was 2nd in her NW2.

Robin Goodfellow was 10th in his allowance.

Songcatcher was 3rd in her claiming race.

Cearnach was 13th in her NW1. :(

Alleluia and Avenue of Stars were 12th and 14th in the Affectionately Handicap.

One of a Kind won the Mr. Prospector Handicap! :D

Morgan le Fay and Golden Aura were 9th and 11th in the Honey Fox Handicap.

KindleHope had an OK day... at least we were mostly on the board, as opposed to our recent trend of the opposite.  :-/

AP European pulled a 4th in her NW1.
Go For Broke just couldn't take the boys in her Maiden, but held on for 2nd.
I Can't Tell floundered in her stakes. Boo.
Incan Gold must have conspired with One of a Kind enough to wire his NW1 allowance. Can I wish for a stakes rivalry between these two ND sons? Ok, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.
Medinilla was a claim that responded to the surface change and managed a 2nd in her NW3 allowance.
No Alibi managed a 4th against the boys. She was the highest placing filly, so maybe I'll throw her back with her gender again... and hope for a SW?
Skylights was a new claim that I'm excited about. Only 2 races, and never off the board: she finished 3rd.
Sonik Dancer is a No Duplicate gelding that I thought I'd try my hand at. He's been struggling a bit, but ND's generally run for EVER, so I figured we'd hash him out to 5 or 6.
Spectacular Love wired her final allowance with a yawn; she's definitely ready for stakes company again.
Wild Countess liked the switch to SC... possible a bit shorter for the win next time, but she held on in mixed company for a 3rd.
All Fired Up, America Forever, Follow Your Heat, Magic Flute, Party Crasher flailed about in their races, a bit more like lobsters than ponies. Back to the drawing board.

Whoot! Congrats on One of a Kind... I've been watching that little guy kinda closely. And cheering like mad...:)

You're on! Maybe a rival will keep him motivated to run. ;)

Thanks! He's certainly got the bloodlines to do great things.
