Nice win for Kowhai, Jase  ;)  Going to have to see what to change with Von Lich, or maybe the turf just threw him off a bit in his last race.

WINS
Voiceinaphotograph (National Post)won his 7.5f NW2 allowance breaking his maiden!
Igotafeeling (Worth My While) scored another win (3 out of 4 races this year) in a 5.5f allowance for 3yo F

PLACES
NCh. Von Lichtenstein was second in the 9.5f Prince of Wales Stakes. Nice job to Kowhai for getting him, but I guess no American or Canadian TC winner this year  :(
Dream in Color (National Post) placed in his 6f maiden for 3yo+

Also had a couple fourths with Double The Devil in a 9f NW2 allowance, and Actors Guild in the 9f Gr. 2 Lucky Cigar Stakes.

Fabulous, fabulous day for us:

Sent two out, both colts in stakes races.

3YO Exit Poll (x Irish River) WON his first stakes race in the G3 East Essex Stakes.  He has only been entered in steeplechasing races thanks to FF's random decision, so I'm happy to see him doing well.  This is his second stakes attempt, but the other (20f) was far too great of a distance.  We'll see where this guy can go from here!

2YO Ducati (x Magic Cross) just secured the elusive G1 win that stumps most of my colts (including the colt by his same sire who was my closest to succeeding) - winning the G1 Nunthorpe Stakes with style.  This is his second stakes win in a row, and both times he has beaten some of the 2YO names that stand out to me (Boo Radley, Gambling Fool, Fiery Foxx, etc).  This boy appears to be the real deal, and I'm thrilled to have him in our ranks.  If this continues, I might have to start looking into nominations - a thing I've avoided in the past thanks to lack of funds and believeable talent...  Fingers crossed...

ETA: I just looked at his nominations tab (a page I typically avoid, see above), and apparently he's been nominated for a majority of the major races already, presumably by his breeder - Edgewood Stud.  Wow.  This opens up a whole new world of possibilities.  This little small-time stable's world is spinning with the possibilities now.   :P  Oh please let this streak of luck continue!

Only one out; Embellished finished 2nd/6 in a NW1, again her highest speed figure. Her dam is Ch. Eternity (S), which was being sold at the recent auction by Final Furlong, and found a new home at Stillwater Farms. Of course we wanted to have her at Clicker Lab but were also bidding on Ellejolet and Cabernet, two 3yo fillies :)

Sent out 11 runners, had 4 wins, 1 second, 1 third, 1 fourth and 4 out of the money.

Winners
Redemption Song (2yo, CREATED) breaking his maiden in a Claiming Race in England - No takers, however, so he will continue to run in our colors.
Ch. Giant's Debate (3yo, Giant's Causeway) in the G2 Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga. Her 3rd win in her last four races, including 2 G2W. This win put her into the Ch. class.
Ch. Pointed Question (3yo, What's Your Point) in the G2 Lucky Cigar Stakes at Saratoga. His 2nd win in the 2 races he has run in our colors. Like Giant's Debate, this win put him into the Ch. class.
GCh. AndLikeThatHesGone (4yo, Major's Flight) in the G2 Highland Pride Stakes at Saratoga. His 3rd consecutive SW leaves him 2 SW away from being stallion-qualified. This win put him into the GCh. class.

Second
Ch. Dark Topaz (3yo, Dark Continent) in the G2 Bison City Stakes at Fort Erie.

Third
NCh. Lucky Streak (4yo, Rahy) in the G3 Purity Cadbury Hobart Cup in Australia.

Nice win for Kowhai, Jase  ;)

Bah I hate spoiling a party...! But thanks... And at least you were beaten by the best filly this year? In all honesty I've been willing this to happen for a while! ;)

Super happy with KOWHAI and her win over Von Lichtenstein in the Prince of Wales Stakes!

Only one.

Acapulco Gold ran in 7.5f NW3 Allowance for 3yo+ and placed 2nd/14. I'm glad he's starting to move those short legs again.
