RIP Devil's Own
« on: August 23, 2014, 08:50:32 am »
We went to bring the mares in from the back field this morning and discovered Devil's Own had passed away in the night. The 18yo mare retired after weaning her last foal (a filly by Dr. Evil) a few weeks ago, and had been enjoying lazing in the sun.

Devil's Own produced 15 foals including MSWs Devil His Due, Strike Your Fancy, Hunter's Hero, Fairy Cat, and Devil's Price. We're grateful her last two foals were fillies and look forward to her line continuing.

Awe sorry to hear that. We feel very fortunate to have Devil His Due as a living memorial for her. She was a great mare.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Good luck with her foals.

We have one filly out of her, Ch. Sent to the Devil, who has won 4 times in 18 races.

We also have a couple of horses sired by her son, Devil His Due, including:-
G.Ch. Venture His Due, who is a millionaire and is one SW away from being Stud-Qualified,
Devilish Rose, who is unbeaten in her two starts.
