Anything Goes / Re: The Grand National 2018 (Apr. 14)

Wow! Love the extra commentary Lewis & Emma! I would personally love to see this race one day. It's been on my horse bucket list since I first watched National Velvet!

Unfortunately I do not have any racers that are interested enough in steeplechasing much less 24f  ::)

General/Questions / Re: Stallion Spotlight February II: Eighteen Karat

Thank you for doing my spotlight! I'm claiming the next one!! <3

I'm going to come back because I have several of his foals now. They've been doing well for me! Not stakes wise, but at least they're consistent money earners so I'll take it!

Thanks everyone!! Kind of hilarious at how happy that made me today but I’ll take it lol Especially because January had been pretty rough.

Questions / Re: Training Schedule
« on: February 10, 2018, 04:40:43 pm »
I keep my horses on a schedule at all times whether they are at a track or at home. When they are at home they don't train so I don't see the need to delete the schedule. They even train when they are at F energy but sometimes I'll go in and change those at F to just walk 1/2 mile that day. I haven't been getting injuries -knock on wood- by doing this, so it's been working.

4(2)-1(1)-0-1(1)-1 $70,200

I GOT MY FIRST STAKES WIN! I'M SO EXCITED! I even told my husband this morning ahahah Also, sent another 3yo to a stakes race. Really only entered her because there were only 2 other member owned horses. She's at least earned money for her trip home from Australia.

Hollywood Linen (3yo, Foolhardy) in the Sham Stakes (Ungr.). Claimed him last year for $10k. He was a decent 2yo and is undefeated so far this year. He's my first stakes winner and I'm SO EXCITED. Really took a gamble here on the dirt as all his wins are on turf. Trying to decide if we're going to do the English TC or head on to the Derby trail.

Shades of Winter (3yo, Blue Smoke) in the Caulfield Guineas Prelude (Gr. 3).

Royal (5yo, Yes It's Paddy) in an Allowance

Exotic Dancer (5yo, Created) in a NW2 Allowance

Sorry to hear about your lost foal. LiveLong&Prosper comes with a Live Foal Guarantee so if you want to send a mare to him, let me know and I'll set up the Free breeding.

Thanks, Lewis, I'm going to check my broodmares and see if I can find someone that matches with him well.
