Some of these races were pretty packed, so the 6th or 7th seems a bit less awful. Other races... I think my ponies were just a bit out to lunch.

Steely Dan (4yo, Created) in a maiden
Antares (5yo, Formal Occasion) in the Memsie Stakes (Gr. 2) - At least this girl was still running with her head on straight. She didn't best any of the boys at this level so I might just keep her in filly and mare races for awhile.

Also Rans:
Southern Warrior (5yo, Black Warrior) 6th in an Allowance
Court Martial (3yo, Major's Flight) 12th in a NW2 Allowance
Snowdown (5yo, Created) 7th in a claiming race
One Fast Belle (3yo, One Lucky Soul) 7th in a NW2 Allowance
Whisky Rebel (5yo, Latino Mix) 12th in the Affectionately Handicap (Gr. 3)

Love Der Blaue Engel's name! I recently named a filly after Marlene's character in the film too :)

Thanks! It has been fun seeing how they all turn out. This latest addition kept me waiting for a bit, but luckily there were no issues for mare or foal.

ICh. Blue Smoke (B) x Angelic Theory - WCh. I'm Your Angel
Bred by Generous Bloodstock
10.0h bay filly

Decided to name her after Marlene Dietrich's character in the film, The Blue Angel, since I saw we already had a horse in the game named Blue Angel Fighter. She's the 4th foal for her SP dam, though her eldest foal hasn't been started yet. Angelic Theory is off to see Lord Nelson next.

Decent enough day, much better than this past Wednesday at least.

Bridge the Gap (6yo, Unabridged) in an Allowance - I honestly didn't think she was going to win going into this race, but I'm glad to see this older girl has still got it. She'll keep running as long as she's interested for now.

Wish Come True (4yo, As You Wish) in a NW3 Allowance - Glad to see this guy do well in a fairly competitive field, he seems like he's going to be a pretty steady earner.

Dobies Bight (3yo, Doodles) in a NW2 Allowance - For her first outing over fences this wasn't bad. For her next race I'll see if she likes a longer distance any better since I know her sire favored distances over 10f.

Ready Player One (4yo, Player) in a maiden - I just picked up this guy recently, and while he's placed well throughout his career he still hasn't won yet. Hopefully he will soon though :)

National Account (7yo, National Post) in an Allowance
Ching Shih (4yo, In The Navy) in a NW2 Allowance

Also Rans:
Innovation (6yo, Crystal Rainbow) 7th in a NW2 Allowance
Pride And Glory (3yo, Tottenham Hotspur) 6th in a NW3 Allowance
Might And Grace (6yo, Highland Bandit) 8th in a NW3 Allowance
Passchendaele (4yo, Almost Precious) 6th in a NW3 Allowance

I love Tern The Quay, I think altogether it works well :) I also really like Time to Bail, and what a nice, big colt he is to boot!

No wins to start the New Year, but a show in a Stakes race isn't awful. I think my 3yos are still figuring out running, so it's back to the drawing boards with them.

For Pete's Sake (5yo, High Chances) in an Allowance - My steady eddy since I've picked her up, always in the money if not a winner
Antares (5yo, Formal Occasion) in the Survive Stakes (Ungr.) - Just purchased this mare the other day, I'm looking forward to seeing how she keeps running

Queen's Command (6yo, Foolhardy) in a NW2 Allowance

Also Rans:
Infatuation (3yo, Demand the Best) 12th in a maiden
Odd Light (4yo, Latino Mix) 6th in a NW2 Allowance - While she hasn't done awful on the flat, I think she might be switching to fences to see if that interests her more
Bungled Conquest (5yo, Slip In The Mud) 8th in an Allowance
Mute Sense (3yo, V is for Victory) 11th in a NW1 Allowance
Nicoscene (4yo, Nightfight) 7th in the El Conejo Handicap (Ungr.)
